Mike + Karen | 16.01.09
Here are some teaser shots from Mike and Karen’s wedding day in KL – Malacca yesterday.
We will be covering their wedding dinner tonight… Stay tuned for more shots of both of them..

Charles + Chai Leng | 11.01.09
They started as highschool sweethearts, which eventually led to lifetime partners. Congrats to both Charles and Chai Leng who were married on the 11th Jan 09. The day started with the make-up session in Sungai Long for Chai Leng, with Charles arriving with this cool ‘heng-tai’s from Kapar. These guys are ‘race’ drivers! We nearly lost the convoy while we were heading back to Charles’s place. We will also be covering their 2nd wedding dinner on the following week.
Here are some shots from the day event.

Following are some pictures from a short portrait session that we had on the 17th prior to the dinner

Bernard + Jaime
A Big congrats to Bernard and Jaime on their big big day on 10th January 2009. This was one of the days we had so much fun that we didn’t even feel our fingers tired
. Bernard and Jaime had their wedding vows exchanged in in PJ Gospel Hall and Wedding dinner in Eastin Hotel.
Morning started for Jaime in Eastin Hotel. Where all her ‘chee mui’s’ mainly cousins gathered to prepare some very interesting games for the groom and his men. Very well planned and very well executed
. Bernard and his friends are one group of people where they can take anything the girls threw at them. One of the most sporting and fun bunch we have seen. We also had good time catching up with Matthew (One of Bernards close friend) and Alicia whose wedding we shot last year
(Great to see you guys again) Other than that, we met alot of people we know in this wedding
Jaime also told us an amazing story on how she got herself a different gown than the one she rented earlier less than 24 hours before the wedding. She spotted a lovely looking gown when she was in a shop getting her nails done. She had a look at it.. and then tried it. It fits perfectly without alteration. Amazing. She and the gown were both meant to be.
Have a look below on some great shots we manage to get from a very short session of portraits in Eastin Hotel.
Here is the slideshow for the morning session and some still shots along with it.

He was pretty thirsty… notice the Sponge Bob tissue dispenser hung on him?

The flying petai!
One of the guys started throwing petais into Bernard’s mouth…

Bernard seen here looking embarrassed by his best friends.

And so it is 2009…What’s been happening?
Already 6 days into 2009.. what’s been happening to us in CreativeClicks?
We’ve been so busy doing up photos for all the couples we shot in November and December 2008. We have to apologize if we have not updated the web or any more new photos in the Blog. It will come…. one of my new years resolution.
We are really excited about this year. We feel a buzz in the air that greater things will happen.
We have some new ideas, some new visions and some new inspiration. One thing for sure, we will keep pushing ourselves to shoot better pictures everytime.
For those of you who do not know, our tag line is “Where Passion Meets Art”. Yes, photography is our passion. That is that fuels us to push ourselves further. What we capture, the moments that we freeze with our cameras is like a piece of art, drawing or sketch. Some has described photography as painting with light.
Let’s see what else has happened.. oh.. Darren and I celebrated our birthday in December. Kinda makes us feel older now.
I also recently manage to dig out my 1st camera that my dad bought me when I was a kid. It was a 110 format camera from Kodak. And my 1st shoot with this camera was actually a destination shoot.
I took it with me to London and Paris. Here’s what the cam looks like. I still have it with the external flash..

We hope you have a blessed new year and thank you for all the people who has supported us. Please leave us comments. Would be nice to hear from you guys. This year.. we will push ahead with our creativity and of course someone in our team needs new gears..:)
God Bless..

It’s finally here. The feature for Vinod and Ling for Female Brides Magazine.
For those of you guys who don’t know, they won a competition that brought together 5 teams of people to make their wedding come true (I Do Weddings, Margaret McCallum, The Westin KL, Wishing Tree and Estee Lauder).
Here is the scan of Female Brides. Go get yourself a copy coz our photos are in it!!!Â

Ulysses + Molly
We ended 2008 with this shoot featuring Ulysses from Greece and Molly from Malaysia. Theirs was a simple ceremony held in Saujana Subang. It was Small, Simple, Classy and full of laughter and very personal with the extra touch Molly had envisioned.
Preparations started early for Ulysses at Nova Hotel who flew in a few days earlier from UK. Ulysses works as a Doctor in the trauma department. As he got ready, Molly was busy preparing herself at “Technique” Salon in Plaza Damas in the hands of her friends at the salon. It was really funny to see Ulysses enjoying himself thoroughly during the torturing sessions by the Ji-Muis. The expression on his face was pricesless! And yes…. He got the bride after a few rounds of games which saw him stripping down and performing Yoga poses, Guess the Lips and a huge Angpow and Cash Payout
We headed to Saujana for the Outdoor Ceremony and portraits around the hotel landscape. Then it was Party time during the dinner reception.
Note : Molly comes from a family of Photographers. Both her father and brother are photographers (corrected thanks to Samantha for pointing it out)..it was really evident as all her childhood pictures she showed at the dinner reception were superbly composed and taken. Molly is a Nikon fangirl… Go Girl !! Even if the Nikon camp was outnumbered 3 to 1 at this wedding we know its still the better camera… right Jo and M.C
?
Check out the fast edit slideshow we showed during their dinner.
